Hiking
The hiking area around Naturno offers you pleasant and exciting tours, starting directly from our hotel. Many cable cars, just a few steps away, take you on top of the mountains around Merano, on about 1500 m of height! It is the ideal starting point to explore the breathtaking Tessa Group Nature Park or to hike to the Monte Tramontana mountain pastures - you will be rewarded with a unique view over the pretty city of Merano and the Val Venosta. The Unterstell, Texel and Aschbach cable cars take you every 30 minutes with speed, safety and comfort, to charming destinations. Ready to explore the Monte Sole near Naturno, the Merano High Mountain Trail and the high plateau of Monte San Vigilio?
Besides the ski lifts, there are also hiking taxis available. In comfortable minibuses, professional drivers will take you to the "Kreuzbrünnl" parking area in Naturno and to the Val di Fosse in the heart of the Tessa Group Nature Park. They will pick you up again in the late afternoon. Just enjoy your car-free holiday in Naturno and its surroundings without having to give up any comfort.

The exceptional region has a very special ace up its sleeve - the "Bike Highline Merano", a network of mountain bike routes on Monte Tramontana, above Naturno! You will hardly find as many trails and outstanding panoramas as those of the "Bike Highline Merano", which has made its appearance in branch magazines and is a MUST when in Val Venosta.
An extensive infrastructure is available for cycling enthusiasts: cycling academies with qualified guides, cable cars for MTB transport, marked trails, bike shops, bike rental and much more.

Cycling for pure pleasure
Explore the sunny area around Naturno by bike! The Val Venosta cycling track, part of the Via Claudia Augusta cycle route, is one of the most impressive tours in the Alps. Starting from Merano, up to Lake Resia, through wonderful orchards, churches and castles of the Val Venosta. Close to Naturno, the pleasant 80 km long route offers breathtaking views over the surrounding mountain paradise. In addition, a bike shuttle takes you twice a week from Curon to Glorenza and once a week to Merano.
Have you ever heard of a hiking e-bike? It's definitely more fun - no bike tour is too long and no climb too steep! You can rent them here and explore the Val Venosta on two wheels.

As a partner shop, the Ötzi Bike Shop works closely with the Ötzi Bike Academy, to offer bikers in Naturno and the surrounding area an even better range of products. The Bike Shop is also an official test centre for FOCUS, KALKHOFF, GIANT and BERGAMONT. Our guests have the possibility to rent the best bikes on the market and test them on their own or on a guided tour. The range of products in the Bike Shop extends from rental, sale and repair, to clothing and bike accessories.

Admits beautiful apple tree trees, in the southern part of Lana, lies the fabulous Golf Club Lana. The peculiarity of the golf course, planned with precision and easy access, is its suggestive free view over the vast Val d’Adige. Situated below the ruins of the “Brandis” castle and the close proximity to the fruit orchards, guarantees a direct immersion in the genuine character of this land and its inhabitants.
For golf enthusiasts the exceptionally long season of 10 months (from mid-February to mid-December) is particularly attractive, as the unique Mediterranean climate that reigns within the Alps’ blossom. The golf school offers various courses for beginners and professionals, ensuring professionalism and high-quality teaching.
